Arbitration

We have successfully recovered EUR 25 million (the full amount of the claim) in an arbitration against the trustees of Imtech.

Collective Redress/Cartel Damages

We currently represent the claimants in the largest Collective Redress cases that are now pending in the Netherlands: the Cartel Damages Claims filed against the largest global airlines (Air Cargo) and European truck producers (Trucks).

Commercial contracts litigation

We obtained a settlement of EUR 45 million for an agro-industrial company (secured within one year after the start of the litigation).

We managed to avert a EUR 120 million claim against a high-end European consumer electronics company in arbitration.

Construction litigation

We represented several construction companies in litigation and arbitration relating to contracts with values varying from EUR 50 to over EUR 500 million.

Financial and Securities Litigation

We successfully defended one of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands against claims exceeding EUR 70 million from Barclays Bank and a Dutch venture capital company under financial guarantees.

Fraud and other unlawful acts

We obtained several judgments to reclaim money paid based on forged invoices for one of the largest municipalitites in the Netherlands.

M&A arbitration

We conducted multiple international arbitrations relating to EUR 200 million plus M&A transactions.

Life Sciences & Healthcare Litigation

We managed to avert a EUR 500 million healthcare tariff increase on behalf of all Dutch health insurance companies in regulatory litigation.

On behalf of a large healthcare provider we secured a EUR 28 million settlement in a dispute relating to contracts for the provision of healthcare services.

We fended off a EUR 35 million healthcare recourse claim on behalf of a major Dutch health insurance company in regulatory summary proceedings.

Product liability

We defend a global pharmaceutical company against several product liability claims.

Real estate

We collected a EUR 6.5 million rent compensation which formed part of a EUR 50 million sale of a fast-food chain (proceedings took until the Dutch Supreme Court).

Technology litigation

We implemented a successful defense strategy for a global technology company from the US in arbitration against a EUR 7 million post acquisition claim.

Government & Regulatory Litigation

We devised a successful defence strategy for a large healthcare provider in relation to a EUR 30 million fraud penalty imposed by healthcare regulatory authorities.

For a large property developer we obtained the governmental approvals required for a largescale healthcare related property development in regulatory litigation.

We defended a large industrial services provider on the basis of the European free movement rules in proceedings against administrative penalties imposed by regulatory authorities.
